Stuck in Time
With the clock ticking tick-tock, the thoughts in my head change; As every second goes by, they mutate their shape. I don't want to give up the space in my heart, to the aimless illusions ripping me apart. With the pendulum swinging back and forth, my heart keeps alternating. midway past and present it's stuck, wobbling around, chaos stirring. I'm confounded between worlds, confused, I need to stop twanging my feelings and ending up bruised. But what if here forever I'm stuck and all I can hear is the clock ticking tick-tock.
